Outdoor Bean Bag Chair

The shape and the filling are the same – what changes is the fabric. Our outdoor bean bag chairs are made from Outdoor Pro, a waterproof, quick-drying fabric intended for indoor and outdoor use, so the chair can stand on a terrace, balcony or lawn and move into the living room whenever you like. Inside, every chair is filled with EPS beads.

A shower is not a problem: Outdoor Pro is waterproof and dries quickly, so you can wipe the cover down and let it air-dry. We do recommend two habits – keep the chair out of full sun when you are not using it, and store it somewhere dry once the outdoor months are over.

For everyday marks, wipe the fabric with a damp cloth. On Bali, Distinto and Porto Smart the outer cover can also be removed and machine-washed at 30 °C; let it dry completely before putting it back on.

Choose by shape and by your height rather than your weight. Bali has a backrest (approx. 70 × 80 cm, approx. 77 cm high, around 300 l). Distinto XXL is the largest and is sized for adults (62 × 82 × 90 cm, around 390 l). Amalfi is a cube measuring 70 × 70 × 70 cm (around 300 l), and Porto Smart is a floor seat with a pocket (around 300 l). Taller people are generally better supported by a larger chair.

Only EPS beads: virgin, odourless polystyrene granules with a hygiene certificate. They shift with your body, which is what makes a bean bag chair comfortable in different positions. Beads settle with use, so we sell EPS refill beads in 50, 100, 200 and 400 l bags.

Yes – on Bali, Distinto and Porto Smart the outer covers can be removed for washing. Replacement covers are available for Bali, Distinto and Porto Smart – in Outdoor Pro and in Soft Velvet for indoor use – so you can change the colour or the fabric without buying a new chair.

The cover and fabric carry a 24-month warranty and the filling a 6-month warranty. Orders are dispatched within 24 hours, and delivery is free on orders from €85.
